Do I need to download the Evident ID app?

You do not need to download the Evident ID App for the DSAR request process.

When a DSAR request has been submitted, the data subject will receive an email with a link to verify.

This will navigate the data subject to a page where they can input their phone number and have a link texted to them where they can complete the Evident ID verification process.

Note that for manual requests, the DSAR user will have to provide their ID for verification outside the system.
